Duties
The Airport Advisory Commission makes recommendations to the City Council on the issues of Fleming Field Airport and airport policies that impact or have the potential to impact the community. The nine-member commission is appointed by the
City Council to a three-year term. Duties of the Airport Advisory Commission include:
- Acting in an advisory capacity to the airport manager and City Council in matter pertaining to Fleming Field
- Reviewing and making recommendations on the airport budget, Capital Improvement Plan, services, and policies and procedures
- Reviewing the airport’s financial performance
