City Council Field Narrowed for November 8th, 2022 General Election
There are three seats open on the South St. Paul City Council. The August 9th, 2022 Primary, narrowed the candidate pool to six. The six candidates listed below will be on the ballot for the November 8th, 2022 General Election.

Candidate Filings - South St. Paul School Board
The general election shall be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. At that election, four (4) members will be elected to the School Board for terms of four (4) years each.
The period for filing affidavits of candidacy for the office of school board member of South St. Paul Schools shall begin at 7:00 AM on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 and shall close at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.
Affidavits of Candidacy are available in the City Clerk's Office at City Hall, 125 3rd Avenue North, South St. Paul. The filing fee for this office is $2. A candidate for this office must be an eligible voter, must be 21 years of age or more on assuming office, must have been a resident of the school district from which the candidate seeks election for thirty (30) days before the general election, and must have no other affidavit on file for any other office at the same primary or general election.
The affidavits of candidacy must be filed in the office of the city clerk and the filing fee paid prior to 5:00 o'clock p.m. on August 16, 2022.

City of South St. Paul Absentee Ballot Boards Meeting Schedule, 2022 State General Election
The City of South St. Paul Absentee Ballot Board will meet during business hours at the call of the City Clerk in the 2nd Floor Conference Room of City Hall to accept absentee ballots received from voters residing in the following City of South St. Paul precincts during the absentee voting period (September 23rd thru November 7th, 2022):

- Precinct 5
The Dakota County UOCAVA Absentee Ballot Board will meet during business hours at the call of the auditor on every day in which a military/overseas process absentee ballot is received.
