Groundbreaking Ceremony - October 4, 2022
Following soil remediation and land transfer to the County in September, a well-attended groundbreaking ceremony was held at the new library site (7th and Marie Aves.) the afternoon of October 4, 2022. U.S. Representative Angie Craig and a spokesperson from U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar's office expressed their appreciation for libraries, but the spotlight was on Commissioner Kathleen Gaylord who had championed this project from the start.
